MERSIN PROVINCE, AKDENİZ, TOROSLAR, YENİŞEHİR AND MEZİTLİ DISTRICTS MASTER PLAN

The Zoning Master Plan for the districts of Akdeniz, Toroslar, Yenişehir, and Mezitli has been devised to guide the sub-scale planning decisions in line with upper-scale vision and objectives, while facilitating coordination. The plan targets the reconfiguration of Mersin province’s four central districts, which have previously been developed with incompatible planning approches. These four intertwined and interdependent districts have come together under a shared vision and planning decision. Through a comprehensive approach and a common language, the work and the settlement zones reorganized by social and cultural objectives, and transportation connections.
