BEYKOZ DISTRICT RİVA CREEK ENVIRONMENT CONSERVATION DEVELOPMENT PLANS

The First Stage Zoning Master Plan covers an area of about 650 hectares, which includes the neighbourhoods of Çayağzı (Riva), Alibahadır, Paşamandıra, Göllü, Öğümce, and Bozhane, situated around the Riva Stream. Similarly, the Second Stage Zoning Master Plan encompasses a region of roughly 800 hectares, covering portions of the Bozhane, Öğümce, Cumhuriyet, Kılıçlı, and İshaklı neighbourhoods. The aim of the planning study is to put into effect methods within an environmentally integrated planning framework, minimize negative impacts like pollution and the decline of biodiversity, alleviate urbanization pressure, and generate an area that promotes a healthy standard of living for the town and its inhabitants, satisfies recreational requirements, and simultaneously aids the local economy through strategies for rural development.
